Tiffany & Co. has introduced a new limited-edition Tiffany Timer chronograph for 2026, marking 160 years since the brand created its first chronograph in 1866.
The new watch combines Tiffany's jewelry heritage with modern Swiss watchmaking, featuring a lightweight titanium case, platinum bezel and the brand's instantly recognizable Tiffany Blue accents. The model is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide and is scheduled for release in September 2026.
A Modern Interpretation of the Tiffany Timer
The new Tiffany Timer measures 40mm and uses a Grade 5 titanium case with a polished platinum bezel. Compared with the first Tiffany Timer released earlier in 2026, the new version has a darker blue dial with subtle Tiffany Blue details.
The combination gives the chronograph a more understated appearance while retaining the visual identity associated with Tiffany & Co.
The watch also features a sapphire crystal caseback, allowing the mechanical movement and decorative rotor to be viewed from the back.
Powered by a Zenith El Primero Movement
Inside the Tiffany Timer is a customized Zenith El Primero 400 automatic chronograph movement.
The movement operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 50 hours of power reserve. It also features hours, minutes, small seconds, date and chronograph functions.
One of the most unusual details can be found on the movement's rotor: a hand-sculpted 18K yellow-gold Bird on a Rock motif inspired by the famous design created by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
Why This Watch Is Interesting to Collectors
The new Tiffany Timer is notable because it demonstrates how a jewelry house can combine its visual identity with serious mechanical watchmaking.
Tiffany & Co. has a much longer history in watchmaking than many consumers may realize. The company began selling watches in the 19th century and introduced its first chronograph in 1866. The 2026 Tiffany Timer therefore connects a historical watchmaking milestone with contemporary materials and movement technology.
With only 100 pieces being produced, the new Tiffany Timer is clearly positioned as a collector-oriented timepiece rather than a mass-market luxury watch.
Tiffany Timer 2026: A Blend of Jewelry and Watchmaking
The latest Tiffany Timer shows that modern luxury watches do not necessarily have to choose between technical performance and artistic design.
Its titanium and platinum construction, Swiss automatic chronograph movement and distinctive Bird on a Rock rotor bring together three different elements: lightweight modern materials, traditional mechanical watchmaking and Tiffany's jewelry heritage.
As the luxury watch market continues to evolve in 2026, limited-edition pieces like the Tiffany Timer demonstrate that craftsmanship, history and distinctive design remain powerful attractions for collectors.
